Enhancement in tunneling density of states in a Luttinger liquid: Role of nonlocal interaction

Power-law suppression of local electronic tunneling density states (TDOS) in the zero-energy limit is a hallmark Luttinger liquid (LL) phase interacting one-dimensional electron system. We present theoretical model which hosts LL state with surprising feature enhancement rather than TDOS originating from nonlocal and repulsive density-density interactions. Importantly, we find manifold parameter space where system stable renormalization group (RG) sense. argue that along RG stability possible only when has broken parity symmetry about position enhancement. Such could be realized on edge bilayer quantum Hall both intralayer interlayer interactions are mimicking role interactions, respectively.
